Responsibilities:

An intern for the End User Technical Operations team would be working closely with operations, engineering, and development resources to cultivate our existing monitoring toolset, assist with building infrastructure and service monitoring dashboards, build reports reflecting our key Enterprise Technology services.

The information curated will improve the overall customer experience, product performance, business operations, and strategic decision-making. Closely partner with our internal operations and Engineering teams and cross-segment teams to develop dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
  • Engage with Splunk platform and operations teams to gather requirements.
  • Develop tools and reports to support the various operations teams.
  • Ability to reflect business service-level agreements with dashboards to monitor service health, troubleshoot alerts, and perform root cause analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Programming with one or more of the following languages:
    • C/C++
    • Java
    • Python
  • Demonstrated experience or knowledge in either of these fields below:
    • Data Science
    • Business Analytics
    • Visualizations
    • Dashboarding
    • Reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Splunk
    • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

    Required Education

    Currently enrolled undergraduate student studying Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business intelligence or related field at an accredited college/university and returning to school following the internship.

    Additional Information:
    • At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
    • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
    • Must provide full work availability.
    • Must provide own transportation to/from work (if it becomes in-person)
    • Program Length: The approximate dates of this internship are May/June - August/September 2022. Interns must be fully available for the duration of a 12-week assignment.
