- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring that all DIESI expatriate cast members/employees are paid accurately and timely each week via direct deposit and that all SAPL employees are paid accurately and timely each month through foreign wire transfers.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing payroll for high profile executives including earnings adjustments, imputed files, stock options, RSUs, bonuses and special payment for DIESI expatriates and SAPL employees.
  • Partnering with various departments such as: Corporate Tax, HR, Global Mobility, Finance, and Cash& Banking to ensure timely and accurate payrolls and tax reporting.
  • Working closely with Corporate Tax and Global Mobility on redesigning the DIESI/SAPL payroll processes for current and future park expansions.
  • Run weekly, monthly and yearly audits to ensure taxes are in balance in preparation for year-end W2 and tax reporting.
  • Processing SAPL payroll through CitiDirect website using currency exchange rates and wire transfers.
  • Leading the year-end payroll processes for DIESI W2 reporting.
  • Preparation and submittal of payroll tax filings for Federal, State, and Local governments for withholding and State unemployment Insurance (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
  • Processing SAPL payroll through CitiDirect website using currency exchange rates and wire transfers.
  • Leading the year-end payroll processes for DIESI W2 reporting.
  • Resolve correspondence with tax jurisdictions.
  • Perform tax adjustments, corrections, and refunds as needed.
  • Research of existing State & Federal rules and regulations and apply to daily work.
  • Research and resolve outstanding Payroll Tax postings in G/L.
  • Assess opportunities and implement process improvements/automation for the Payroll tax organization.
  • Analyze data, prepare and present results to leadership.
  • Provide excellent customer service on Payroll tax issues to internal and external customers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time
  • Strong partnering skills with an ability to effectively engage others, initiate work/work flow, and gets work done through partners from across the segment leveraging virtual methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with partners of varying levels within the organization and external to the organization
  • Demonstrate advanced computer skills in MS Excel, Access.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP experience
  • Strong understanding of gross-up calculations
  • Strong understanding of foreign currencies and exchange rate calculations
  • Ability to drive to collaborative solutions
  • Demonstrated strategic and creative thinking skills
  • Proven experience in Accounting/Payroll; payroll tax reporting and compliance
  • Ability to understand the structure and operation of payroll systems
  • Minimum one year commitment to the role

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
