The Print and Marketing Sourcing Specialist will be a part of a team responsible for Sourcing activities with a focus on printed materials as it relates to supplier management, client management, category management, project management, and technical solutions supporting internal business units across the Company. This role will be accountable for business unit sourcing initiatives that consider supply chain processes with focus on solutions to drive reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) without compromising quality, business strategy, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal clients and partners to develop specifications and lead RFP process while providing solutions based on quality assurance, efficiencies, and cost controls
  • Continually explore and evaluate evolving industry technologies and market conditions, and develop procurement strategies that maximize value to the Company
  • Assist in the development of Supplier Relationship Management performance initiatives
  • Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiations following established Strategic Sourcing methodology
  • Ensure compliance with overall Company as well as Sourcing and Procurement specific policies and best practices
  • Lead cross-functional sourcing projects that meet the client’s requirements
  • Communicate and report to management the status of any critical purchases that could affect planning and decision-making
  • Analyze market trends and conditions that affect suppliers, cost of goods, pricing, and the resulting impact on clients
  • Research and implement “best practices” for procurement, including supporting technologies related to sourcing commodities
  • Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Graphic Arts Industry
  • Strong industry knowledge and experience, including:
    • Traditional Print
    • Digital Print
    • Large Format Print
    • Direct Mail
    • USPS Requirements and Postage
    • Fulfillment and Distribution
    • Paper Industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels
  • Internal customer focus
  • Ability/desire to work in diverse environment
  • Experiences with SAP or other ERP
  • Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes

Required Education

  • Associate’s degree - Graphic Arts, Business or other quantitative discipline

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Graphic Arts, Business or other quantitative discipline
