Job Summary:

This role is located within the Core Systems and Platforms Organization under the Financial Value Chain business solutions area. Finance Value Chains will be delivering Priority Business Solutions aligned with the enterprise architecture for the Finance and Tax and Treasury Value Chains. We lead with a Business Architecture framework and own the core financial systems and related functions domain technology roadmap.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads technology teams within implementation projects, including development teams
  • Delivers high-quality, scalable, and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements conforming to architectural patterns and business strategy
  • Creates and manages product roadmaps, helps set and lead technology strategy
  • Responsible for security and compliance
  • Responsible for Tier 3 engineering support for live production services
  • Actively manages third-party suppliers of products to ensure they deliver on function, on budget and on business target
  • Collaborates closely with partners across the organization including business partners, architects, and other delivery managers
  • Builds strong relationships with and manages large and diverse groups of stakeholders at multiple levels, from end users to executives, across the enterprise
  • Mentor high-performance teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on large Finance / Source to Pay projects. 10 years overall ERP experience
  • Source to Pay – 3rd party front end SaaS solutions with SAP back office foundation
  • Must have Coupa SaaS experience or similar
  • Coupa SaaS experience primary, Ariba secondary
  • Strong technology background and applicable technology skills
  • Strong communication, consensus-building, and executive presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage project stakeholders across multiple levels across the enterprise
  • Ability to make difficult decisions balancing business requirements, project timelines and budgets, and product and technology roadmaps and architectural designs
  • Embraces innovation by constantly seeking new and industry leading ideas. Thinks big and broad, without being constrained by existing norms or business models.
  • Demonstrates stamina, resilience, and perseverance under trying circumstances
  • Ability to decide and act without having the total picture and comfortable handling risk and uncertainty
  • Self-starter, who can effectively navigate a complex organizational structure
  • Proven track record to successfully lead delivery teams of software projects in finance and source to pay value chains on a large scale
  • Deep experience of source to pay processes within SAP ERP and SaaS Vendors – Coupa / Ariba
  • Experience with Solutions Architecture practice and methodologies
  • Experience with Security and Compliance and managing Tier 3 engineering support for live services
  • Experience leading matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
  • Experience managing technical project budget and financials
  • Strong experience with vendor management and building strong, collaborative vendor relationships
  • Experience with agile software development and managing full SDLC
  • Experience managing diverse groups of stakeholders at all levels across the enterprise
  • Proven ability to build and motivate a team to achieve well-communicated expectations
  • Prior experience of working in a Media environment is advantageous

Required Education

BS Computer Science or related technology field

Preferred Education

Business Finance field of study
