Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Summary:

The Sr. Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the timely and accurate recognition of all Disney Ad Sales and Affiliate cash received from various bank lockboxes, ensure that cash is properly disbursed within each business unit, and interfaced between the FOH system and SAP.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include:
  • Overall cash applications of all Disney Domestic Affiliate business units
  • Reviewing all lockbox accounts related to JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America on a monthly basis
  • On a weekly basis, reconciling cash received from lockboxes to Cash controlled SAP accounts
  • On a weekly basis, reconciling cash received with cash applied for both Domestic Affiliate and Domestic Ad Sales accounts
  • Acting as liaison between the Cash Application team and the Collection team, including collaborating and coordinating the research of all unapplied cash and offsets, and then subsequently applying cash as advised.
  • On a monthly basis, reporting and analysis of cash and cash KPIs
  • On a monthly basis, prepare the various SOX Cash Reconciliations and testing
  • On an adhoc basis, support the auditors with audit requests and follow up with any findings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum two-three years experience in a fast paced, detail oriented accounting department.
  • Billing, receivable, cash, and systems work experience required.

  • BS Degree
