Job Summary:

Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Finance organization within Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.

Within CIMA, the Consumer Insight team drives value by developing a deep understanding of consumers and Guests that is leveraged to identify improvement opportunities and influence key strategies across the business.

This Senior Analyst (Project Hire) role supports Disney Cruise Line and will need to effectively handle multiple assignments at once, across varied partner groups in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Mine, analyze and synthesize data sources using various techniques including SPSS. Under limited supervision, interpret information to provide objective, clear and actionable insight.
  • Foster relationships with teammates, internal partners and external vendors, managing specific work-streams with limited guidance from leader.
  • Design research studies, with limited guidance from leader, applying appropriate methodological techniques to address business needs.
  • Develop survey questionnaires / discussion guides, with limited guidance from leader, that provide a platform for key insight and actionable results.
  • Communicate findings in a clear and compelling way.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in related field (e.g. marketing/sales, market research, business analytics, strategic planning …)
  • Demonstrated experience in quantitative and qualitative research and statistical / analytical techniques
  • Knowledge of statistical software (SPSS / SAS) required
  • Advocate of consumer-centric decision making philosophy
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, including managing internal partners and external vendors
  • Flexible and nimble - can adapt and effectively prioritize competing tasks
  • Ability to partner and build relationships with various levels of the organization
  • Strong attention to detail within context to the business goals
  • Ability to interpret information to articulate a clear, compelling story
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and high intellectual curiosity
  • Demonstrated proficiency in use of Excel for data analysis and Powerpoint for presentations
