Responsibilities:

The Senior Financial Analyst role supporting Disney Cruise Line Business Development, Capital, and Financial Planning will support planning and forecasting processes, and development of financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives. This role is actively involved with the Long-Term Capital and Operating Plans, AOP/ACP, and DCL business development projects, crafting the story to Sr. Executives. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for developing relationships with key partners, and working closely on forecasts, financial planning presentations, including consolidating Disney Signature Experiences results and presentations, industry/competitor analysis and other ad hoc projects. In addition, they will assist in the preparation of capital requests, working with business owners to develop the appropriate business case, create and review pro forma models and analyze project economics.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of financial and business development/proforma experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and software (Excel, PowerPoint, SAP)
  • Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced and vibrant environment
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork/partnering ability
  • Demonstrated business savvy with a strong understanding of the external market, economic, and competitive forces
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent is required
  • Previous experience in Financial Planning & Analysis; understanding of traditional finance cycle (LTP, AOP, Forecast, etc.)
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporates effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations and communication to audiences of all levels persuasively, articulately and with full command of the topic

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent is required
