The Senior Financial Analyst will provide accounting and business support for the Disney Vacation Club Condominium Associations from both a financial reporting and budget development aspect.  We are seeking a finance professional who will develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders across Walt Disney Parks and Resorts.  Ideal candidates will possess experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and/or resort management functions.     

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the annual operating forecast for each Association aligns with changes in the business and influences partners to ensure alignment with budget guidelines.
  • Prepares journal entries and analyzes financial results.
  • Consolidates financial review packages for presentation to executive leaders.
  • Prepares the annual budget for each Association for presentation to the Treasurer in preparation for the annual Member meeting.
  • Recommends and implements process improvements/reengineering initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proficient in all aspects of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong advanced Excel modeling skills and the ability to work with large amounts of data and ensure accuracy
  • Strong analytical and budget/forecasting skill 
  • Proven ability to perform ad hoc analysis in a fast-paced dynamic environment and ability to work with a sense of urgency and curiosity
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent team player with solid interpersonal skills 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing financial support within the Timeshare industry
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Longview

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent

Preferred Education:

  • Certified Public Accountant
