Job Summary:

Responsible from every phase of contract development from researching the legal regulations to negotiating the terms and preparing the print documents for Disney Institute and National Geographic Live. In this role, you will also collaborate with the legal team to draft documents for the clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft various types of contracts, including program and services agreements, amendments and confidentiality agreements using pre-approved templates. Assist in the creation of new contract templates
  • Project manage contract workflow from intake to execution, including coordination with various stakeholders and shared services partners
  • Create and manage custom reports for various stakeholders on contract project performance
  • Manage contract database (Workfront), contract status reports and the electronic signature database (DocuSign)
  • Prepare briefings, trainings and presentations. Issue recaps and monitor action items
  • Perform various analysis on contracts for consistency with company policy, guardrails and business rules.
  • Analyze, recommend and assist in the development of contract processes for continuous improvement. Develop and maintain SOGs for efficient operation.
  • Monitor contract reporting for expiration dates to ensure that contract terms are proactively evaluated and managed
  • Other projects and duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with contract language and terminology.
  • Strong project management experience
  • Attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and flexible with proven critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt successfully in a fast paced, ever changing environment with minimal direction.
  • Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Experience with Workfront, and or other project management databases

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred paralegal experience
