We are Disney Yellow Shoes, the in-house creative agency for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products. Who are we looking for? A world-class Sr. Production Designer with a passion for translating all creative concepts into high-resolution production mechanicals for final digital and print production, that are accurate and able to reproduce across all platforms required. You’ll work on projects that range from the smallest flyer to the largest train station take-over, and every print & digital tactic in between. You’ll need to be creative in your problem-solving, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, fast, and passionate about making exceptional mechanical art.

The Sr. Production Designer reports to the Production Design Supervisor.

This is a Full-Time role.

What You Will Do

  • Create, edit, and revise mechanicals on all advertising and collateral tactics assigned by the Production Design Manager.

  • Tactical knowledge to produce digital and traditional advertising to digital and social media.

  • Be creative in their problem-solving, deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and efficient.

  • Collaborates with Art Directors, Project Managers, Print Production Managers & all levels of leadership &team members with grace and ease.

  • Must be a highly organized time manager, a great communicator, and listener.

  • Ability to easily adapt an existing campaign across all new tactics, without sacrificing integrity of original creative decisions.

  • Strong understanding of design sensitivities for typography, iconography & layout as it relates to production problem-solving.

  • Responsible for keeping abreast with industry and software changes and updates, continually developing your production skills.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in production design.

  • Expert-level skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator with a solid understanding of the full Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Knowledge of Macintosh-based equipment within a network environment.

  • Expert level of Pre-Press, CMYK, RGB color spaces, proofing, and digital print production.

  • Exceptional print production knowledge of how ink & paper interact with color correction.

  • Solid foundation in color theory and management.

  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure while handling high volume without sacrificing quality or accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.

4-year college degree in Art/Production field or equivalent in field and experience.
