Job Summary:

Enterprise Technology/Telecom is looking for an individual with strong technical and troubleshooting skills to support Managed Print Services at Walt Disney World Disney Parks and Resorts.  The Technical Specialist will provide field support and be responsible for print servers and software, equipment installations and inventory, and implementation of secure print solutions across property.  This individual should have a solid understanding of the print industry, as well as strong software security experience, demonstrated through past examples. 

This position is on-site in central Florida.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide governance to the Walt Disney World Managed Print Program.

  • Provide hands-on support for print server/spooler upgrades, installations, emergency maintenance, and outage resolution.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve security vulnerabilities on various network equipment. 

  • Collaborate with various DPEP teams and service suppliers to provide efficient print/imaging solutions.

  • Provide onsite consultation to customers and ensure operational support of the print environment to maintain SLAs and Disney standards

  • Provide level 2 support to triage the break/fix of ~3,000 devices tracked trough Service NOW.

  • Present updates to leadership on security findings focusing on resolution and root cause.

  • Manage the vendor relationships to include invoice review and approval.

  • Prepare and present metrics on print usage, trends, and opportunities.

  • Provide oversight of local delivery of consumables by vendors.

  • Oversight of the device decommission and recycling programs.

  • Manage automated toner replenishment program.

  • Perform in-depth troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years in the Print Industry

  • 1-3 years network switching and routing experience

  • 1-3 years of network or software security experience

  • Solid knowledge of network security standards and industry best practices.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP Workplace, and Service NOW

  • Strong understanding of various vendor print applications (HP Advance, Web Jet Admin, Security Manager, Digital Scan/Send)

  • Solid understanding and experience with enterprise managed print support, sustainment, and implementation.

  • Documentation experience with fleet optimization and TCO calculations.

  • Moderate experience with network switching and routing.

  • Passion for, and knowledge of print systems and solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle escalations and outages.

  • Proven success collaborating with a range of partners.

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Technology, or Computer Science

  • Various security and network certifications.

Required Education:

  • A degree in a technical related field, appropriate certifications, or equivalent work experience
