We are Disney’s Yellow Shoes, the award-winning, in-house creative shop for Disney Destinations. Every day, we have fun crafting memorable work for one of the greatest brands in the world! 

What You Will Do 
Our Strategic Marketing Partnerships and Promotions team develops and implements tactics for collaborative programs with external media, retail, broadcast, sports and synergy marketing alliance partners. Programs can include live broadcasts and productions, media (Radio/TV) promotions, regional and national retail programs, and sweepstakes.   • Partner with key internal team members to ensure that promotional activity is meeting the strategic objectives.

  • Package and disseminate all creative toolkits to third-party businesses for development of promotional items.

  • Acquire Creative, Legal, Brand and Business Affairs approvals for finished products. 

  • Assist with our Orlando Magic, Orlando City Soccer and Orlando Pride tactic executions.

  • Conduct industry research, and provide summaries on standard methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • Project management skills with the ability to lead/partner, delivering results on time and within budget.

  •  Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.

  • Experience collaborating with outside agencies, partners and media.

  • Positive, flexible demeanor and comfortable with ambiguity.

  • A valid US driver’s license. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to prioritize responsibilities.

  • High level of energy with strong desire to learn and grow.

  • Interest and knowledge of video production and new media.

  • Spoken and written proficiency in Spanish.

  • Previous work experience with The Walt Disney Company. 

Education 

  • Currently enrolled as a Senior or higher, or have graduated within the past 6 months from an accredited college/university, earning a degree majoring in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information 

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program

  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information 

  • Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship.

  • The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 through January 2025.

  • Must have reliable transportation to/from work.
