Job Summary:

Disney is looking for a motivated individual to join our Disney+ team in Dubai as Brand Marketing Manager.

The Brand Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of insight-driven marketing strategies and best in class media campaigns for Disney+, at both an overarching brand level and IP specific executions. The focus, and measurement of success, is to build brand awareness, understanding and consideration of Disney+, and awareness and excitement through high-impact media campaigns, of high priority content drops. Works in partnership with the performance & retention teams drive sign ups, subscribers and loyalty.

The individual will have day to day responsibility for marketing activity, working closely with the UK team to align on overarching brand and audience strategy, whilst injecting knowledge of the MENA market; audiences & behaviours, the TV & SVOD landscape and broader entertainment industry at large to reflect local nuance and optimise campaigns against Awareness and Acquisition KPIs.

The individual will also be expected to work hand in glove with other Disney+ departments including synergy, performance, retention, PR, social and partnerships to help plan integrated strategies.


  • Create and execute industry leading, insight driven, innovative & effective marketing campaigns for Disney+ in MENA at a brand and specific IP level, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget.
  • Manage and be responsible for campaign planning process and timelines, including internal and external briefings/approvals, implementation and post-campaign reporting & analysis ensuring insights and recommendations flow into future activity.
  • Day to day management of the media agency, building a strong and trusted partnership to ensure continued innovative, efficient and effective campaigns.
  • Detailed campaign budget management, tracking purchase orders, managing vendors, and supporting the lead with quarterly financial planning.
  • Partner with the Performance, Promotions and Retention teams to ensure media plans are connected and intertwined with their activity.
  • Be a key point of contact with the publicity team to ensure we are aligned and maximising brand and content publicity opportunities.
  • Be an expert on attitudes and behaviours of key audiences, where and how to connect with them.
  • Understand the competitive environment from both a platform and content perspective (TV, SVOD & Theatrical), applying insights to gain competitive advantage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven Marketing experience at a Marketing Manager level preferably within the MENA market
  • Experience working within the Entertainment industry (TV, SVOD or Theatrical)
  • Demonstated ability to formulate, manage high profile, end to end marketing campaigns
  • Agency management experience
  • Budget management experience
  • Arabic language is a plus
  • Strong strategic marketing capabilities and implementation skills
  • Meticulous organisational skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven with a strong business sense
