WTVD, Multi-Platform Producer

Job Summary:

The Producer, who will be primarily working on WTVD's streaming platform, will work closely with our Digital Strategy Manager and news team to create and distribute exclusive content for our Connected Television (CTV) streaming apps. The candidate will assist with coordinating live and playback elements of continuous digital stream available on multiple platforms. We want a team player who has a desire to serve our diverse community, prioritizes assignments and is willing to utilize data and research to create high impact content. This person should be a data-driven producer with audience development experience who understands how videos work across different digital platforms. Of course, producing and editing skills should be a given, but out of all of the skills required for this job, we believe the most important one is a strong desire to work within a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

  • A producer with linear experience who can build, lead and optimize live and on-demand video content for mobile, desktop and CTV platforms
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines, write headlines and edit video

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience producing linear newscasts

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
