Job Summary:

Disney Gift Card Services, Inc. is an enterprise entity responsible for creating, launching and maintaining Gift Card and Stored Value Products sold and distributed globally through a variety of channels, including online, corporate sales, retail stores and other partnerships. The team consists of Program Development, Business Development, Brand Management/Marketing, Operations, Finance and Guest Service groups dedicated to enhancing the Guest experience, reducing payment friction and supporting Walt Disney Company business initiatives.


The Project Analyst Intern will play an integral role in various project deliverables assisting and supporting the Disney Gift Card Services Program Development team. This individual will be responsible for supporting the team with tasks including, but not limited to, reporting on project statuses and updates, documentation, platform testing, Cast Member training and troubleshooting. They will partner with technical, financial, creative and operational teams at various levels to gather and provide requirements for projects and process improvements. Additionally, the intern will be responsible for sustainment activities including, but not limited to, managing system access, troubleshooting and system testing. This position may require flexible hours to support weekend & after-hours initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple competing priorities with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, creative solutioning and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external partners at various levels
  • Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to adapt communication styles for technical and non-technical partners
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
  • Desire to take creative, thoughtful risks in line with business needs
  • Familiar and engaged with emerging technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and presentation software
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize metrics across multiple platforms to create stories depicting product performances and user experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with project management processes and software, agile methodologies and working with external vendors/partners
  • Understanding of cloud environment and database structure
  • Basic understanding of Private/Public APIs and JSON messaging
  • Knowledge of user interface/experience trends and strategies
  • Familiar with contactless consumer experiences

Required Education

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship, OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 18 months
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Post Graduate degree in Business, Project Management or Information Technology

Additional Information:

  • You will work remotely until in-person work resumes. The location for this work will be Orlando, Florida. Please note, candidates must be receptive to working Eastern Standard Time for the duration of the program (approximately 8:30am-5:30pm EST).
  • The approximate dates of this internship are May/June 2021 through December 2021/January 2022.
  • Candidate must be available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week).
  • Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program
  • Must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program, OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship, OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past 18 months
