Responsibilities:The candidate should also be able to problem solve errors in a newscast, follow through with the technical team, as well as work closely with their fellow news producer to fix errors in future newscasts. Additional duties include creating daily news graphics with Adobe Photoshop and playout with the Ross XPression Graphic System and running teleprompter.
Basic Qualifications:The ideal candidate should have experience working with the Grass Valley Ignite system and/or Ross OverDrive, possess the ability to work well under pressure, open to new ideas/workflows, be a team player, and have exceptional organization skills. Experience with Dalet Galaxy or other newsroom production software a must. Must be available to work all shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays. This position is an AFTRA union position.
