Job Summary:

Collaborate with the team at Disney Publishing Worldwide to produce audiobooks, eBooks, and other serial audio presentations, such as podcasts. Responsible for dialog production tasks that include: script preparation, voice recording, dialogue editing, dialogue mixing and mastering, audio quality control, and asset coordination across digital audio products for Disney Publishing Worldwide. Secondary tasks may include other audio-related items on an as-needed basis. Report to Senior Dialogue Editor.


You Will:

  • Produce new dialogue in the studio, on location, and remotely, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and brand awareness.
  • Organize and quality control audio materials at essential milestones in the production process.
  • Record voice actors.
  • Edit, mix and master dialogue, keeping in mind multiple use cases, and anticipating the combination of voice, sound effects, and music.
  • Work with other Disney audio departments to obtain, use, and repatriate dialogue assets.
  • Collaborate with team to cast Voice Over (VO) talent.
  • Help book talent and studios for recording sessions.
  • Prepare scripts and other materials for use in voice recording sessions.

Basic Qualifications:

You Have:

  • 1 or more years' experience in dialogue audio recording, editing and mixing in a professional environment.
  • Experience with audio equipment, especially digital audio workstations, audio plug-ins, and microphones.
  • Some familiarity with Disney Franchises.

  • BA/BS
