Job Summary:

D23: The Official Disney Fan Club is looking for an experienced B2C marketer to grow and strengthen CRM with our highly engaged fans. This role will be key in improving our consumer journey through marketing communication strategies aimed at acquisition, engagement and retention. Working closely with multiple teams, the Manager, CRM will be responsible for executing effective email marketing campaigns that leverage data to drive personalization and member value. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, possess strong project management skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for email marketing and superb guest experience is a must.

Responsibilities:

Email Marketing: Develop and evolve the overall email and push B2C marketing strategy to ensure alignment with business objectives, goals, and priorities. Responsible for driving email campaign production: creation, planning, scheduling, executing, testing and optimization of B2C campaigns. Work with internal CRM partners and Membership team to build customer segments and execute automations as well as customer journeys within the ESP. Lead the delivery of email campaigns with a focus on quality assurance and smooth technical execution.

CRM Lifecycle Planning: Owner of consumer journey roadmap, maintaining a cohesive omni-channel guest experience. Partner with Brand and Marketing leads on engagement programs and acquisition campaigns. Develop and execute test & learn plans to gain actionable insights for marketing. Lead management and execution of campaigns that convert and retain D23 Members (paid and non-paid tiers).

Engagement & Optimization: Optimize the email and lifecycle program through continual testing of creative, copy, timing, offers, targeting, and more. Run daily/weekly/monthly reporting against key metrics across all email marketing activities. Find opportunities to improve the effectiveness of email and push B2C marketing programs. Leverage data to target subscribers with relevant content to ensure a positive experience with high engagement.

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years experience in email marketing
Extensive experience with email and push standard methodologies and deliverability
Knowledge of HTML coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design
Experience with developing strategies and plans guided by audience insights and behaviors
Hands on experience working with CRM platforms and analytic tools like Tableau or Google Analytics
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage group workflow
Ability to provide strategic recommendations backed by data
Strong team member who proactively brings creative solutions to the organization
Ability to deliver under extreme deadlines and fast-paced environment
Strong proofreading skills, with an eagle eye for catching errors, typos, mistakes and broken links
Possess an expert understanding of consumer mindset, consumer empathy and dedication to great guest experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a subscription business a plus

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
