About the Role & Program:
The Walt Disney Company's Corporate Communications department is seeking a Digital Media Intern to support the Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) Digital team. This intern will contribute to digital projects, including internal and external websites, email communications, and media asset management. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:
As a Digital Media Intern, you will:
Code HTML emails and web pages.
Create and update events on the internal Event Registration platform.
Manage and prepare media assets and create web pages through WordPress.
Update and manage content across multiple websites, including D23.com, The Walt Disney Archives, and TheWaltDisneyCompany.com.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience with HTML for web page and email creation.
Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Experience with video encoding software.
Familiarity with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with UX/UI design.
Familiarity with accessibility standards.
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Web Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Candidates graduating in May/June 2025 preferred.
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
- Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess unrestricted work authorization
Additional Information:
- Fully available for the entire program duration: June 2025 – January 2026 (6 months) from Monday through Friday.
- Able to provide own housing for the internship program duration in Glendale, CA.
- Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
- Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program.
The pay rate for this role in Glendale, CA is $35.00 per hour.
