Responsibilities
- Dive deep into data to provide recommendations on current and future Disney endeavors
- Problem-solve and influence others with your positive attitude and insightful nature
- Understand key business initiatives / data to allow for influential decision making
- Rotate through 3-4 of the following:
Collect, analyze, interpret and present data and other information to support a range of strategic, operational and development-related projects
Apply financial analysis, statistics, simulation and forecasting to solve complex business problems
Consumer Insights
Mine and analyze data using statistical packages to provide insights to Executives and partners in a compelling and creative way
Contribute to the design and research studies, applying appropriate techniques to address business needs
Digital
Manage vendor relationships and implementation of tools and services that support various initiatives with a focus on machine-learning and AI to create more streamlined, relevant and magical Guest experiences
Aid in creating dashboards and status update decks on key initiatives for Executives to showcase Digital initiatives
Finance
Industrial Engineering
Consult with clients to improve business results through operational planning support, capacity/demand analysis and productivity/process improvement
Apply IE techniques (statistics simulation, forecasting, optimization) to solve complex business problems
Marketing Strategy
Leverage consumer motivations and barriers to implement business strategies, marketing communications programs and brand initiatives to build awareness, enhance the brand and achieve business objectives
Analyze and interpret data to determine marketing program performance
Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans and product content to deliver against business objectives and budgets

Basic Qualifications
Our ideal candidate demonstrates a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and advanced written and oral communications skills.We are looking for individuals who have the following background:
- Business experience through internships, part-time work, and/or campus involvement
- Proven ability to take on leadership positions or significant responsibility
- Integrated and critical thinker, with the ability and desire to integrate data into decisions
- Strong desire to work on value-added projects and diplomatically challenge the status quo
- Proven history of making decisions and recommendations informed by evidence
- Ability to translate technical information to non-technical audience through storytelling and strong partnerships
- The ability to build strong relationships in a highly professional, “client service orientation” environment
- Flexible, “special-projects” orientation coupled with solid multi-tasking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in an analytical, statistical, or business-related field
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Excel
- Previous experience with a statistical package
- Familiarity with Access, R, Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS or other analytical tools
- Previous experience with data visualization tools
- Basic understanding of Tableau or Power BI
Required Education
- Recent college graduate or currently enrolled in a college or university, working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Sciences, Economics, Finance, Business Strategy, Statistics, or other related field
- GPA of 3.0
- Anticipated completion of undergraduate degree no later than June 2020.
Preferred Education
- GPA of 3.5+
