Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media (DCPI) is the business segment of The Walt Disney Company that brings our Company's stories and characters to life through innovative and engaging physical products and digital experiences across more than 100 categories, from toys and t-shirts to apps and console games. DCPI comprises of: Disney Consumer Products (DCP) and Disney Interactive (DI). The combined segment is home to world-class teams of app and game developers, licensing and retail experts, a leading retail business (Disney Store), artists and storytellers, and technologists who inspire imaginations around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to two Vice Presidents and two Directors
  • Manage complex schedules and coordinate high-volume of meetings with internal and external parties utilizing multiple calendars.
  • Interface with various Disney departments and external organizations.
  • Assists other department members as necessary.
  • Answer, screen and handle telephone calls. Handles extremely heavy phones (including logging, placing and rolling calls).
  • Composes and types routine e-mail correspondence.
  • Draft, process and file memos, reports, correspondence, purchase orders, authorizations, and expense reports.
  • Make travel arrangements and plan itineraries; Coordinates frequent travel schedules and arrangements, collects required travel documentation including visas.
  • Coordinate executive demos making sure the team is prepared and supported
  • Prepares and processes P-card and expense reports in accordance with established divisional travel policy guidelines; Ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing the latest electronic processes for payment to Corporate credit card
  • Maintains proper recordkeeping and filing system for all work
  • Maintain high standards of confidentiality with respect to all matters and documents
  • Review and distribute mail, file, and order supplies
  • Assist with various projects as needed
  • Maintains contact lists
  • Provide assistance with updating PowerPoint or Keynote slides and Excel spreadsheets, as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • General administrative experience supporting senior level executives in a corporate environment
  • Proactive approach, careful attention to detail, and timely follow-through
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment and to prioritize effectively
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote and the ability to learn new programs if necessary
  • Knowledge of SAP, JIRA, Confluence, Disney Box, and Concur desired
  • Must work well with others in a close team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Ability to work flexible hours on occasion
  • Passion for Entertainment, Technology, and Consumer Products industry
  • Must be able to effectively and professionally interface with high level Company executives and clients and be completely comfortable handling highly confidential information.
