The Next Generation Storytelling Studio is an organization supporting the entire Walt Disney Company that is focused on creating new canvases for storytelling and audience engagement in a connected world of physical, digital and virtual experiences.
The Manager, Delivery & Operational Intelligence is responsible for internal Next Generation Storytelling communication, and organizational readiness to ensure that the NGS studio achieves its goals and objectives. They will assist with managing all aspects of change with a focus on the people that is associated with setting up this new structure. Focusing on implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize stakeholder adoption and usage while minimizing resistance. This role will also develop communication plans for all programs and projects and will work closely with the program management team to ensure they are tailored to each unique program.
The ideal candidate will be a skilled cross-functional collaborator, with experience in emerging technology and consumer-oriented technology services.
Design, develop and implement change management strategies and plans
Manage execution of activities related to organizational change management and end user readiness
Creates communication documentation for the NGS team to educate partners on program progress, objectives, and impacts.
Perform stakeholder and change impact analysis
Identify and anticipate organization challenges and or resistance across the organization and develop risk management plan
Ensure that there is consistent communication about the Next Generation Storytelling Studio and programs in all media, including presentations, speaking points, memos, speeches, etc.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and deliver presentations as required
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with program teams and stakeholders
Continuously monitor and report on program execution to the teams, program leadership, executive management, and external stakeholders
Forecast, manage and pro-actively escalate and mitigate risks and issues
Build strong relationships across engineering, product, and stakeholder teams
Works with other team leads to ensure integration across teams
7 years’ experience with high complexity change management projects
3 years’ experience in end-user training strategy
Demonstrated experience in successfully leading design and implementation of Change Management strategies in support of organizational changes
Bachelor’s degree with appropriate project experience in Organizational Development, Human Performance Technology, Organizational Communications is required
7+ years of digital program management experience
Change Management certifications (Prosci ADKAR, CCMP, ADT)
Experience with JIRA, Excel, Word, Smartsheet, and Confluence
Experience in the media industry is a plus
