The Disney Entertainment segment includes the company’s full portfolio of entertainment media and content businesses globally, including streaming.
The Digital & Social Creative Content Team is responsible for ideating, developing, and executing digital, social content and creative assets for the Studio brands and titles to support the wider Disney Entertainment Digital Marketing Team. Consisting of a unit of designers, editors, producers, with a full-service development-to-distribution capabilities, the team serves as a one-stop internal creative agency to address the marketing needs of a rapidly-evolving consumer base.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
Design marketing assets
Develop and execute social & digital content in support of marketing
campaigns & priorities.
Provide graphic design solutions in collaboration with the internal content
development team to support various marketing campaigns
Ideate and initiate new formats of content in response to performance
reports and social media trends
Work on event and premieres content creation with other team members
from the larger Digital Marketing team
Day-to-Day Team Management / Art Direction:
Manage team operation tasks (scheduling / project management/ budget
management)
Provide creative review, mentor, and guidance to designers on the team
Provide art direction and project management to Agencies and 3rd Party
Vendors
Creative Presentations / Branding Work:
Explore and create creative presentations/ mood boards to propose
marketing concepts
Explore and develop logos, brand identity, and style guides for existing and
upcoming initiatives
Maintain and update brand style guides and ensure brand consistency
across team output
Develop new Presentation templates and styles to create rich libraries that are consistent with each brand
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in the digital media creative space
Highly skilled designer/ art director with a record of strong output and deliveries
Highly experienced in social & digital marketing aspects
Significant experience with providing visual solutions based on audience and business goals
Must have tactical knowledge of all relevant social media platforms and features
Excel at working within multi-disciplinary teams and managing external vendors
Previous experience working with large IP’s and building relationships within a brand is a strong plus
Experience managing/ working on several high-visibility projects at a given time, anticipating needs and changing dynamics, and managing with a solutions-oriented
mindset
Well-organized with the ability to efficiently organize, scale, or pivot and deliver a successful project
Proficiency in establishing relationships with leaders, partners, peers, and direct
reports to problem-solve and inspire others with ease and positivity
Strong visual and inter-personal communicator
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Digital creative tools including Adobe Suite (AI, PS, ID, AE, etc.)
Proficient in presentation software (Keynote, Powerpoint, Google Slides)
Experience with project management tools including Jira, Airtable, Basecamp
Required Education:
No specific education experience is necessary but a BFA or equivalent in Art/ Graphic is preferred
Design/ Advertising is a plus
The hiring range for this position in California is $112,012.00 to $150,260.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
