- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

The Learning Strategy team is part of Disney Publishing Worldwide (DPW), one of the world's largest publishing brands. Our mission is to partner with learning experts, publishers and education companies to create learning experiences whether print, digital or physical which combine imagination, creativity and innovation with materials that meet curriculum standards.

The Manager will report to the Director, Learning Creative Strategy and will support the Learning Strategy team at Disney Publishing Worldwide with a special focus on digital and blended learning strategies and projects across all territories.

You Will:

  • Work with the Learning Creative Strategy team to help identify new licensing partners globally for expansion into untapped segments such as Art Education, STEAM and Adult Education
  • Draft pitch decks for presentations to our licensees, partners and company partners
  • Research and track industry and consumer trends staying up to date on new educational products and trends globally, and provide regular updates and demos of product to the team
  • Collaborate with the DPW learning editorial team and licensees to review digital and blended content from concept review through different stages of the development process, providing feedback
  • Partner with colleagues in different countries to stay current on needs and trends
  • Support the team in daily communications with internal and external partners
  • Be the main contact with external consultants for research studies

You have:

  • College degree required
  • 5+ years of experience working for an edtech or educational games company or digital/blended division of a traditional educational company
  • Ability to discern quality of a strong educational product for children, both visually and editorially
  • Preference for a global mindset with experience working with colleagues internationally
  • Knowledge and experience with apps, mobile devices, current media and gaming trends and interactive storytelling
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Glendale, CA
