Job Summary:

The Next Generation Storytelling team is seeking a Manager, Design with strong motion design and 3D animation skills, and deep expertise in designing and developing innovative and next generation consumer experiences. This individual will lead a team of designers to create unique consumer experiences that drive persistent connections with consumers while unlocking new canvases for storytelling. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills, experience in motion design, creative expertise, passionate execution, and accountability.  


This role will work with high performing, cross-functional teams to drive and execute next generation consumer experiences. This individual will have strong experience in motion design, partner management skills, and will bring an understanding of the interplay between design, product, engineering, and the business to evolve capabilities through partnerships and consumer-centric user experiences.  


The ideal candidate will be a skilled cross-functional collaborator, with experience in emerging technology and consumer-oriented technology services. The role requires a solid foundation in motion design, cross-functional team collaboration, and the ability to rapidly synthesize complex information and effectively communicate across multiple stakeholder groups.  




  • Drive a set of consumer experiences to be developed, released and supported across various platforms  

  • Working with the Producers, Editors, and Designers to create original content including video graphics, motion, templates, layouts, video edits  

  • Keeping up to date with technological trends and new releases, communicate new ideas, concepts, and innovations with colleagues, and continually contributing to the quality and creativity of the team to ensure our offering is class leading.  

  • Has strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of motion graphics related software and techniques, including 2D and 3D.  

  • Bringing new and fresh ideas to creative meetings. Researching and collecting creative ideas and references that could inspire and be relevant to our audience.  

  • Participating in ideation and creative performance sessions to incorporate learnings back into future campaigns  

  • Work in tandem with the Producers and Editors to ensure all media assets including third party files are available during the Post-Production process, creative is seamlessly integrated into all projects and all media projects adhere to the Post-Production pathway then archived accordingly  

  • Communicate effectively with a high degree of collaboration and influence.  

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, game design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization  

  • Work across functional teams to understand business and feature requirements  




  • BS/BA in Design, User Experiences, Digital Media, Technology or related field  

  • 10+ years of combined relevant experience in design or as a Motion Designer working with premium brands, including experience providing conceptual direction to other artists.  

  • Experience working with highly technical teams and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment  

  • Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with leaders and cross-functional partners  

  • Creative and strategic thinker with proven ability to create and deliver strong user experiences and product designs  

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, proactive thinker with the ability to thrive in an often ambiguous, fast paced environment while navigating a complex organizational structure.  

  • Ability to think strategically and effectively communicate and execute  

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills  

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, team management, and interpersonal skills.  

  • Strong team player who is also an independent thinker; effective at building relationships, collaborating, and influencing others; experience working with senior executives across various geographies and functions  

  • Open-minded and able to incorporate constructive feedback  

  • Relentless desire for innovation, balanced with business needs, and customer expectations.  

  • Must have a keen eye for great design  

  • Mastery of the principals of design, color theory, typography, graphics, motion graphics, animation, video editing, and file creation optimized for digital, broadcast and cinema.  

  • Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud including Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop  

  • 2D Animation  

  • 3D modelling, texturing and animation skills  

  • Experience in working with sound to support and enhance animations.  

  • Expert understanding of the end-to-end Post-Production process, and of advanced Post-Production applications and networking solutions  

  • Excellent organization skills, balancing competing priorities. Self-managed and self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously  

  • Ability to work under pressure on several assets at the same time whilst maintaining high quality output and a calm demeanor  

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof-check your own work  

  • Vector-based illustration skills  

  • HTML5 experience or knowledge  



  • Experience in design, digital media, and/or technology
