A support member of the Media QA team. An individual contributor that executes testing on websites for mobile and desktop platforms including backend CMS. Tests web-based tools for reliability, consistency, and absence of product defects. Compiles lists of defects or design issues and works closely with developers, producers, and fellow QA to quickly release updates and fixes. Please note this is a non-employee position. If selected, you will need to sign up through a staffing agency to be paid.

Responsibilities

· Finds bugs and inputs these issues clearly and concisely into the bug database
· Test on various web browsers on desktop and mobile platforms

· Communicate updates to the QA team, Developers, and Producers
· Assist with code deployments and run regression checks
· Ensure work is completed within project deadlines
· Think outside the box to come up with new ideas and testing solutions
· Work extended hours when necessary

Basic Qualifications

At least one year testing experience on web, mobile, or console platforms. Readily identifies and articulates problem areas. Should have familiarity with web browsers and mobile devices. Must be able to handle high pressure situations and prioritize multiple projects as they are assigned. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to prioritize responsibilities and defects, and stand firm to prevent critical defects. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work with varied staff members and personalities.

Preferred Education

· High School Diploma, some college (preferably in the area of Computer Science or Entertainment related area), or equivalent interactive industry experience.
