The Enterprise Sourcing (ES) team has been established to support all of the corporate functions’ Sourcing & procurement requirements. In addition, the Enterprise Sourcing team is responsible for supporting the business Segments in developing and executing Category Management strategies for Marketing, Professional Services and Supply Chain categories.
The position is one of 3 key roles within the Marketing/Media/Professional Services Sourcing function. The Senior Manager, Enterprise Sourcing – Media & Digital Services will lead and manage a team that is responsible for collaborating/coordinating on all facets of Sourcing activities with the Corporate/Segment sourcing teams and Senior level Stakeholders in the Media categories. The focus of this role is to work with marketing stakeholders from each segment to make smart sourcing decisions in selecting agencies, technologies & other service providers, to maximize the value in media investments, and to mitigate risks through smart contract negotiations. This includes responsibility for developing and delivering the Media & Digital Services category strategies through Strategic Category Plans for the Walt Disney Company and collaborating with the International Category teams.
This position requires excellent communication and internal customer service abilities as the Senior Manager will be responsible for interfacing with Global & Local Sourcing/Marketing/Finance/Business Unit clients on a regular basis. This person will also recommend and set procurement strategies/priorities along with the Director, Marketing & Professional Services, in support of Global Sourcing and Procurement Plans.
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Sourcing – Media & Digital Marketing Services will be accountable for establishing initiatives/projects part of Sourcing Annual Operating Plan with each respective Business Segment and will be accountable for delivering against them. The individual will also provide thought leadership on procurement/sourcing strategies regarding operations, processes and infrastructure improvements. This position will ensure consistency in approach and quality and depth of analysis during the procurement/sourcing process.
Responsibilities
- In alignment with the overall Category objectives, establish and manage AOP’s with each TWDC Segment with focus on;

This will require bringing senior executives together from different Segment to develop common interests and strategies.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the 3-5 sub-category plans in alignment with the Segment 5 year strategic Planning process and delivering against the targets set jointly by ES and the business segments.
- Lead large media projects/RFP’s/Pitches from source to contract.
- Together with the Director, Enterprise Sourcing, MK & PS, develop annual operating plans (AOP) for the Media services team and delivering against the targets set jointly by ES and the business segments.
- Develop and implement tools to allow rigorous cost and market analysis to be completed by the Sourcing professionals
- Ensure consistent application of procurement processes across constituent groups
- Develop, implement, monitor and report performance measures that demonstrate value and ensure supplier performance
- Build and maintain relationships with key Segment/Functional executives to ensure full understanding and support for sourcing & procurement initiatives – becoming a trusted advisor.
- Track, and report savings, spending compliance and variances: communicate results with the Director, Enterprise Sourcing and selected stakeholders
- Perform supplier performance reviews and supplier compliance audits in conjunction with the business as appropriate
- Provide leadership, direction and management to the Marketing & Creative Services sourcing team
- Build/establish strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Serve as a business partner to Segment/Functional key stakeholders by identifying their critical business requirements and providing procurement services to meet/exceed their expectations
- Provide rigorous cost and market analysis following the models established by Strategic Sourcing focusing on the total cost of ownership
- Prepare for and execute clear, structured negotiations following the Strategic Sourcing process
- Identify, develop and deploy best practice supplier management, procurement and Category management practices
- Drive internal skill/capability development to broaden and build staff skill sets
- Manage 3 direct reports that support the marketing sourcing category
- Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ Years of experience in Sourcing & Procurement
- Minimum of 5-7 years’ leadership experience in a strategic sourcing and procurement environment
- 3-5 years Category Management Experience developing and implementing category plans for traditional Marketing & Creative services
- Exposure to Marketing & Consulting services
- Supporting Senior Marketing executives in developing and implementing sourcing strategies
- Executive presence, presentation and engagement.
- Marketing & Creative Services Category Sourcing knowledge and experience in sub-categories such as Marketing Research, Marketing Technologies, PR, Communications, Creative services, etc.
- Able to demonstrate Strong knowledge of Category Management framework (analysis, strategy, implementation, measurement) and proven experience in creating category strategies
- Basic knowledge of technology as an enabler to driver value across Marketing services
- Demonstrate the ability to exceed the demands of various internal stakeholders across multiple business units and regions
- Demonstrate the ability to work strategically and develop strong business cases for change
- Ability to lead and manage multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in leading & managing virtual teams
- Detailed and structured cost/financial analysis experience
- Strong negotiation skills with an ability to influence clients at all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated capability to build/sustain high performance teams
- Outstanding communication skills
- Customer service orientation and client-centered focus
Preferred Qualifications
- Internal/external business consulting experience desired
- Experience in Media, Entertainment or FMCG Multinational Companies
- Willingness to travel (position may require up to 10% travel)
- Experience in Sourcing Marketing & Media services in a Media & Entertainment environment
- Knowledge of Marketing & Creative services categories in International markets
Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred Education
- MBA or another quantitative discipline preferred

The hiring range for this position is $145,100 to $199,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
The hiring range for this position is $145,100 - 199,400 per year.
