The Senior Manager, Mobile Product Marketing (Project Hire) will lead the development of marketing strategy and execution of marketing efforts for a variety of mobile game products. The candidate must be a highly collaborative, data driven self-starter able to work in a fast paced environment.

As a Senior Manager, Mobile Product Marketing, the ideal candidate will partner with key internal teams to plan and execute all marketing initiatives for assigned titles including paid mobile user acquisition, synergy campaigns, email efforts, partnership marketing, and asset creation under the direction of the Senior Manager, Mobile Product Marketing. The Senior Manager, Mobile Product Marketing will work closely with the Product Development Team, the User Acquisition Team, the Creative Services Team, the Business Intelligence Team, and the Finance Team to define, launch, test, measure, and optimize all marketing efforts.

The Senior Manager, Mobile Product Marketing is expected to possess a wide set of skills including mobile marketing strategy and execution, creative direction, rigorous analysis, identification of opportunities for optimization, application and management of optimizations, frequent communication, collaboration with others throughout the organization, and ongoing self-education, all accomplished with a highly productive work ethic, supporting demeanor, and the highest levels of professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the game development teams to ensure goals and priorities are aligned
  • Provide product marketing guidance rooted in consumer and competitive insights to inform content and the product development process
  • Lead product marketing for a variety of mobile titles – brand identity, key messaging, overall vision, marketing strategy development and execution
  • Work closely with the Social Media Team to plan and execute social media support
  • Develop best in class creative materials working with both internal and external partners including digital advertising creative, print materials, video trailers and/or television commercials, and synergy assets
  • Partner closely with internal PR, integrated marketing, social media and franchise teams to develop and implement marketing plans across launch and sustainment phases
  • Analyze performance of marketing campaigns to regularly identify areas for optimizationCoordinate with regional teams to implement global strategy

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of digital marketing, game marketing, or mobile marketing experience preferably including brand management, product marketing and acquisition experience
  • Must be able to effectively manage several titles/IPs
  • Personality suited to handle responsibility, leadership and deadlines under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to implement strategic marketing as well as daily marketing execution and optimization
  • Experience working with established brands
  • Passionate about mobile gaming and the mobile industry
  • Experience with iOS and Android app marketing
  • Significant experience, proficiency in, and passion for digital media and mobile technologies
  • Entertainment experience is a plus
  • Proven track record in creating and delivering successful and cost-effective marketing campaigns (most immediately but not limited to digital marketing channels, e.g. mobile on-device advertising, SEM, social media, email, viral)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and “sell” strategies to cross-functional teams
  • Highly Detailed and Organized
  • Excellent communications (oral and written) skills
  • Strong problem-solving/troubleshooting skills
  • Strong technical aptitude and quick learning ability
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Keynote, with strong presentation skills and an ability to clearly articulate Strategy, Objectives, and Tactics along with rationale

Required Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant area – marketing, communications

Preferred Education

MBA preferred
