Job Summary:

Disney Corporate Creative Resources (DCCR) is a multi-disciplinary creative agency that provides creative services and solutions to a broad array of functional areas within The Walt Disney Company. As one of the key disciplines within DCCR, the DCCR digital team provides corporate and business unit clients with digital solutions, development, and production services in support of internal and external communications, campaigns, and events.


  • Design elegant digital experiences that meet the needs and expectations of DCCR clients as primary UX/UI design resource
  • Collaborate with UX and design teams, developers, and other cross-functional peers on projects from start to finish
  • Apply exceptional attention to detail and craft ensuring designs meet client expectations, are user-focused, and that development fully reflects design specifications
  • Design complex, multi-platform interfaces using tools like Figma, Sketch, Abstract, and Invision
  • Expertly communicate design theories and best practices to peers, stakeholders, collaborators, and clients
  • See the successful delivery of designs from concept to deployment
  • Keep up with industry trends and pro-actively identify areas for process and design improvement
  • Demonstrate expertise in fully accessible design practices
  • Interpret, infuse and leverage Disney’s unique collection of brands and properties into designs
  • Develop and facilitate user testing process, analyze testing results, and incorporate results into products
  • Effectively communicate design recommendations to leadership team using excellent visual, communication and storytelling skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience operating as a multidisciplinary UX/UI designer, possessing solid capabilities across a range of design disciplines
  • A track record for working with cross-functional creative development teams to produce digital products
  • Experience defining and utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform and inspire design
  • Experience creating from a user-first design approach
  • Experience incorporating user research, data, and analytics into digital designs
  • Experience building interactive prototypes
  • Experience presenting and explaining design choices
  • Experience overseeing the work of other UX/UI designers
  • Proven ability to design websites, emails, or similar campaign materials
  • Expertise in:
    • Visual Design
    • User Experience Design
    • User Interface Design
    • User Research
    • Wireframing
    • User Testing
    • Prototyping
    • Mobile Design
    • Journey Mapping
  • Expertise with design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, Abstract, Invision
  • Expertise presenting with authority, using technologies like Figma, Sketch, Keynote, or PowerPoint.
  • Superior knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Fundamental knowledge of web technologies (mobile websites, mobile web apps, native apps, etc.)
  • Experience with Omniture or other analytics platforms
  • An extreme attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High sense of responsibility and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Ability to deal effectively with people at all levels
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Familiarity of The Walt Disney Company brand and its businesses
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms
  • General familiarity with registration/authentication/authorization services
  • Basic understanding of sensitive/restricted data handling such as PII, PCI, Safe Harbor, SOX, COPPA requirements
  • Familiarity with heatmaps, A/B testing, and other analytical methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Motion design and animation skills a plus
  • Strong connection to the Disney brand preferred
  • Experience working cross-functionally and interacting with cross-functional teams at all levels
  • Experience dealing effectively with non-creative decision makers

Required Education

  • 4-year college degree in related field
