Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company’s International Labor Standards Program (“ILS Program”) seeks to foster safe, inclusive and respectful workplaces wherever Disney-branded products are produced. The ILS Program is an important component of The Walt Disney Company’s social responsibility and responsible supply chain efforts.

ILS Audits are used as a tool to identify and address labor-related issues in facilities authorized to produce Disney-branded products. These audits may be conducted by Disney or by Disney’s licensees/vendors in accordance with Disney standards or those that are recognized by Disney.

The ILS Audit Services team is our internal auditors and audit coordinators based in Guangzhou, China. The teams conducts social compliance audit to assess working conditions against the Disney Code as per Disney's audit standards and protocol. In addition to conducting Disney validation audits in China, this team contributes expertise toward local labor conditions.

The Coordinator/Associate Auditor, Audit Services reports to the Assistant Manager, Audit Services and is responsible for dual roles of assisting in validation audits by independently conducting audit processes and supporting audit coordination functions such as pre-audit communication with facilities. This role requires great attention-to-detail, strong time management and organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with different types of audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting social compliance audits under the direction of a lead auditor per Disney’s audit standards and protocol.
  • Complete audit reports under supervision and ensure audit files are organized appropriately.
  • Perform audit coordination functions such as pre-audit communication with facilities.
  • Other responsibilities may include conducting data analyses and related researches.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience
  • Prefer work experience in a corporate setting and/or related to supplier management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Superior attention-to-detail, strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Advanced user on Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio, and data analytics.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
