Job Summary:

We are seeking a Junior Technical Assistant (Business Analyst) to join the Walt Disney Travel Company International (WDTCI) on a 12 month fixed term contract in our London Hammersmith Head Office. The WDTCI is the Disney owned tour operator selling holiday packages to Walt Disney World (WDW) Resort in Florida, Disneyland Paris (DLP) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) to guests throughout the UK/Ireland & EMEA markets.

You will assist WDTCI in achieving the attendance, room nights and revenue goals for the different destinations and will support the Technical Account Manager in a Business Analyst capacity through the development and execution of projects and strategies, focusing on the delivery of technology solutions and systems development management to help drive forward the growth of WDTCI’s business.

Responsibilities:

-Support the Technical Account Manager in the management of WDTCI systems including:
  • Diamond (Hotel reservations platform)
  • Transport API’s (Ensuring Service Level Agreement’s are met)
  • Disney platforms (Customer Relationship Management, ticketing etc.)
  • Worldpay (Payment provider)
  • Tableau (Booking data reporting/analytics)
-Help to support third party technical relationships,
-Assist with the day-to-day account management of JFA Systems who provide WDTCI’s reservation & back office systems,
-Work with both our technology partners and internal stakeholders demonstrating balance of technical understanding and commercial awareness,
-Support with creation of technical specifications, liaising with internal stakeholders and external technical partners from discovery and development through to solution delivery,
-Help identify and escalate priority issues to the Technical Account Manager to work with the Digital Commerce and Production Manager on the development roadmap,
-Provide support in BAU systems management, working with Disney/JFA/3rd-parties to:
  • Analyse stakeholder needs
  • Transform business objectives into structured technical requirements
  • Track and manage bug fixes via JIRA
  • Manage ongoing projects and BAU via JIRA
  • Define and run the UAT process following a comprehensive test plan
  • Co-ordinate releases, working both with JFA and the team internally
  • Request and track PO’s for third party development

Basic Qualifications:

Business Analyst background desirable, with experience of requirements gathering and shaping system solutions,
Experience with issue-tracking tools (e.g. JIRA) desirable,
Experience within a large, matrix organisation preferred,
Ability to communicate and build strong relationships on various levels to include management, internal stakeholders, and external partners,
Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook.
