Job Summary:

Overall purpose of the role:
As the lead, Productivity Engineering, you will be responsible for implementing end to end testing process and platforms that will enable us to scale. You will be responsible for driving creative, high quality productivity, QA and systems roadmap, growing your team of Engineers and Quality Analysts, capacity planning, maximizing engineering throughput, and ensuring only the highest quality products ship to our fans. You will develop, enhance, and sustain innovative solutions to improve the speed of delivery and the fan’s quality of experience. You will be responsible for Technology decisions within Productivity Teams, such as Automation, KPIs, and general Operational tooling. You will integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, and competitive analysis into KPI development and tracking. You will provide consistent training, support, and mentorship to team. You and your team need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a highly collaborative environment that’s more startup than big company.


Responsibilities and Duties of the role :
  • Design and implement productivity frameworks
  • Monitor data streams for anomalies, triage the issues found and report problems to stakeholders
  • Evaluate the testing processes and methods of widely disparate teams to ensure consistency based upon standards
  • Regularly interface with technical personnel across internal groups and external vendors.

Basic Qualifications:

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
Basic Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • Prior experience in developing high performing SDET team, implementing automated testing tools, frameworks, CI/CD, and testing of web services (REST, SOAP)/website/Mobile app)
  • Scripting and Development experience in a broad range of programming languages
  • Familiarity with automation techniques and design patterns
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Provide industry Insights analysis and researching on software testing including Mobile OS and App testing and new cutting-edge technologies, provide strategic direction and recommend the latest technologies and best practices to enable continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Required Education:
  • BE/BTech degree in Computer Science or other technical field
