Job Summary:

The Manager, Inclusive Strategies CPGP supports the global Creative Development, Content, Product & Inclusive Strategies across Disney Consumer Products, Games and Publishing (CPGP). You will contribute to the permanent shift towards reimagining the development of products and partnerships with the goal of expanding Disney's reach, relevance and impact with communities and fans around the world.
You will report to the Director, Inclusive Strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the CPGP Creative Development, Content, Product, and Inclusive Strategies Global Task Force as a connector of inclusion work across all businesses and their Inclusive Strategies and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) subcommittees to develop products, games and stories that authentically represent communities and fans around the world.
  • Consult with teams to diversify external partners and ensure thoughtful representation across our third-party experiences and external collaborations.
  • Work with Consumer Insights team to understand audience opportunities, motivators and barriers as inspiration for programmatic innovations.
  • Be a liaison to segment and corporate DE&I teams and as an important creative advisor and resource to accomplish company-wide DE&I initiatives.
  • Consult with CPGP third-party consultants who advise on content, products and partners, while collaborating with Studio and Corporate consultants when CPGP support is tied to content.
  • Implement the CPGP global Inclusive Strategies around the key pillars of People, Products and Partners, while providing support to create operational tools, including processes and program management, to allow goal achievement and support leadership.
  • Shape and influence decisions related to people, products, and partners through data, including qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Partner with leaders to evaluate Return on investment (ROI) on inclusion initiatives and help leaders to assess trends and progress against targeted goals.
  • Partner with our Communications leadership team to develop our Inclusive Strategies communications plan to ensure all employees are informed about our goals, priorities, and programs with a clear understanding of how to engage.
  • Ensure yearly Inclusive Strategies DE&I plan and budget are on track by collaborating with supervisor and partners.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Consumer Products/Retail, Multicultural Marketing, Entertainment, Research, and Global Outreach for the full spectrum of diverse audiences with demonstrated subject matter expertise.
  • Storytelling and communication skills; paint a compelling vision of what's possible.
  • Knowledge of best practices and inclusive strategies trends in the marketplace.
  • Experience with positive and productive relationships with a variety of industry experts across dimensions of identity.
  • Global mindset – able to create country-specific strategies based on local demographic(s) and cultural nuances.
  • Focused on analytical strategies and understands how to interpret data and translate into innovation solutions.
  • Lead with the business in mind; focused on strategy.
  • Project management skills – execution focus with the ability to scale and deliver inclusion programs in partnership with teams.
  • Cultivate their own curiosity, challenges accepted wisdom, and focus on impact.
  • Experienced in using multiple data sources (including primary and secondary research, social media) to create clear, actionable insights and stories.
  • Daily communication and visible progress against goals.
  • Build concrete solutions.
  • Build partnerships and influences team members at all levels of a global, matrixed organization.

Required Education

  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts Degree
