- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

The Manager of Graphic Design for Packaging & Branding manages Packaging Design & Branding development from concepts to final artwork. Leader is creative and able to strategize. Handle projects at all levels of complexity. Meet deadlines with quality results.

You will report to the Design Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Packaging Design & Branding for style guides and portfolios across multiple properties and cross divisions
  • Manage Packaging Design and Branding activities for multiple categories and numerous franchises
  • Art style/new technique development to co-ordinate with trends in the marketplace
  • Contribute new Packaging and Branding ideas and participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Ensure Packaging Design and Branding excellence by maintaining integrity and leading artistic and creative direction locally and globally
  • Advocate for Sustainability projects to propel TWDC as a leader in reducing packaging waste
  • Look for and apply knowledge of new trends and new ideas in Packaging Design & Branding
  • Coordinate with licensees, other teams, and content partners on new development and new lines of business
  • Understand Packaging Design and Branding and how it translate to products
  • Fresh and inventive thinker
  • Awareness of marketplace trends
  • Present creative concepts in multiple settings
  • Exhibits creativity and imagination
  • Work with Artists to create elevated relevant art that encompasses trend, consumer insights, Studio initiatives and Franchise focused

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Art and Design
  • 6 years of related work experience in graphic design, character art or merchandise design
  • Knowledge of Graphic Design & Branding
  • Articulate, present, and sell ideas in multiple settings
  • Traditional drawing skills and concepting skills
  • People management skills
  • Manage relationships with teammates and persuade others
  • Strategic vision for overall business and category

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Art and Design
