Job Summary:

GLOBAL SOURCING COMPLIANCE & OPERATIONS is part of Disney Parks Experiences and Products and functions within the Global Product Creation (GPC) organization. The GPC organization is focused on product/merchandise strategy, product & design, product R & D/innovation, and merchandise sourcing. Through these centers of excellence, we deliver high quality, innovative products that are safe and responsibly sourced to consumers in all retail channels around the world, while supplying a unique guest experience. Global Sourcing Compliance & Operations cultivates a thriving team and strong partnerships around the world and partners with best-in-class suppliers to consistently evolve our quality, sustainability, and risk management initiatives to drive productivity and profitability through strong internal/external partnerships and proactive mitigation of cost drivers. The team works towards continuously improving supplier relationships and cultivation of global and cross-functional partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily operational activities related to EDI and other interface platforms including mapping, operational monitoring, and error handling.
  • Support the internal change control activities including preparation/documentation.
  • Responsible for follow-up with partners once innovative solutions are moved to production to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide support to internal business clients on data quality and integrity
  • Provide B2B solutions to support available, reliable, secure, and well performing environments for EDI and Application Interface platforms.
  • Manage Supplier set up and data integrity in Kleinschmidt.
  • Daily support/maintenance of EDI activity for Disney Theme Park Merchandise.
  • Daily matching of Kleinschmidt/SIMBA EDI data and password/e-mail resets.
  • Identification/resolution of EDI production problems with Kleinschmidt/SIMBA/IT
  • Partner with warehouse to identify/resolve ASN issues including supplier follow-up.
  • Manage Kleinschmidt WEB EDI mailbox including resolution of internal/external Purchase Order Revision and ASN problems.
  • Partnering with SIMBA/IT teams to enable future system enhancements, prepare proposals and assist with testing, roll-out and training for current/future Purchase Order website enhancements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Two plus years related professional experience with considerable experience in a EDI platform
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Candidates must be detail oriented and possess a collaborative/partnering work style.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Solid analytical and organization skills.
  • Intermediate Power point and Word experience is preferred.

Required Education

  • 2-year college degree or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience

Preferred Education

  • 4-year college degree
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience

This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.
