The Merchandise Systems & Analytics team is part of Disney’s CPGP team, which creates and sells Disney product around the globe. We are currently seeking a Project Manager – Retail Systems who will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of projects that involve the integration of Merchandise and Digital solutions within our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate optimally across cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. The role facilitates collaboration between technical and business teams, aligning strategies and leading talent effectively. Professional communication, relationship-building and business acumen are crucial for delivering solutions and recommendations.
This role will report to the Director Retail Systems, Analytics and Reporting
You Will:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate the end-to-end execution of projects, ensuring adherence to project milestones and deadlines.
- Engage with internal teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment on project objectives and requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
- Identify project resource needs and prioritize appropriately to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges and ensure project success.
- Maintain clear and regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and any changes in scope.
- Address stakeholder concerns and manage expectations throughout the project.
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards by conducting thorough reviews and testing.
- Collaborate with the finance team to monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring projects are executed within approved financial limits.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
You Have:
- 3+ years of solid experience as a Project Manager, with a focus on retail and digital systems
- Understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
