Job Summary:

The Disney Live Entertainment-Costuming organization develops, produces, stores and distributes operational and entertainment garments both domestically & internationally.

The Senior Project Manager oversees the end-to-end management of global Costuming projects, including the concurrent management of projects with multi-year durations and budgets ranging from small to many millions. The types of projects include developing new business applications and system integrations, identifying and evaluating new business models, driving globalization and new business opportunities, and process improvement for our end-to-end supply chain.

You will report to Sr Manager-DPLE Costuming Standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish project scopes, detailed requirements, timelines, budgets and cash flows
  • Be the primary liaison between multiple teams, including Costuming (domestic and international sites), Finance, Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Technology & Digital, and vendors
  • Right-sizes project management methodology and tools to the individual needs of each project
  • Assess project risks and create mitigation plans
  • Foster relationships with collaborators in our theme parks and resorts worldwide to influence and guide projects and best practice sharing across sites
  • Provide briefings and status reports to executives, leaders and team members and identifying important milestones
  • Ensure project closure including retrospectives/lessons learned, documentation for all processes and systems, and final financial reporting

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience leading multi-year projects with budgets greater than $1M
  • Certification in two or more of the following areas: Project Management (i.e. CAPM, PMP, etc.), Agile (i.e. PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, etc.), Business Analysis (i.e. PMI-PBA, CBAP, etc.), Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Black Belt), ITIL, Supply Chain
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies, and experience with blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DMAIC, DFSS, etc.)
