This position will be part of the global Supply Chain Logistics leadership team that manages the flow of information and product for multiple TWDC businesses; optimizing costs and resources while meeting customer service policy commitments. This team is responsible for managing the transportation system that supports the inbound and outbound freight for different areas within Consumer Products, Games and Publishing (CPGP) in the division of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP).

The Senior Logistics Process and Integration Manager is responsible for identifying, creating and analyzing business process flows, master data requirements and user requirements as it pertains to logistics business practices and technology solutions as well as contributing to the customer business strategy and plans. They are also responsible for gathering and documenting systems user requirements, overseeing logistics optimization projects and LOB engagements as well as logistics business intelligence design and implementation. Daily, there is dashboard reporting and maintaining system data integrity. This role will also analyze TWDC $362M spent in annual transportation and propose projects that optimize cost and processes of the functional life cycle of a shipment while tracking and delivering on ROI value.

Responsibilities:

  • Break down transportation spend and propose services and projects that optimize cost through utilization of system tools and processes
  • Analyze and maintain logistics models to support service policy metrics for our Clients (e.g. estimated landed cost estimates/actual, cycle time, alternative transit costs, etc.)
  • Liaison between IT support team and logistics department for requests pertaining to the transportation support system and prioritizing requests
  • Operational feasibility – strategic fit, who benefits, can we support, cost ownership, labor and processes
  • Create the business requirements documentation which aligns the high level business process to functional designs using standard requirement and modeling techniques
  • Lead and partner with the business technology teams to define software requirements to fulfill business strategies
  • Setup and functional test all reporting and maintain reporting requirements documentation, configuration, user acceptance and training program
  • Responsible for the management of the data warehouse and business intelligence solution as well as BI data collection, presentation, and dissemination
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the team and our clients to establish strong culture of trust, problem solving, innovation, ownership and respect
  • Manage small team of support specialists (2) who work with US domestic Disney suppliers utilizing the OLIVER (OTM) system

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in an analyst role
  • Functional and technical expertise in logistics management processes
  • Experience using SQL and T-SQL as well as ORACLE OTM or equivalent
  • Effective partnership and communication skills
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills; ability to multi task
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills to assess logistics opportunities and provide actionable outcome based solutions
  • Experience designing, implementing and administering databases and database systems
  • Understands Data Architecture Principles and Practices
  • Demonstrates process flow mapping skills
  • Ability to deliver analysis and data on operational performance
  • Understand how core processes deliver value and meet the organization’s defined business objectives
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of the logistics value chain and industry applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Business analysis (CBAP), ITIL, Six Sigma and supply chain a plus
  • Experience managing a small team

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science or Supply Chain/Logistics Management

Preferred Education:

  • MS or MBA in Systems Engineering, Quality and Reliability of Systems, Supply Chain Management a plus
