Disney’s Corporate Alliances develops and holistically manages complex, long-­‐term, multi-­‐ dimensional relationships with select brands and companies.The Corporate Alliances team is dedicated to creating incremental value to The Walt Disney Company and its partners through creative development of marketing and sponsorship programs, management of partner and business unit relationships and creation of new partnerships aligned with The Walt Disney Company’s businesses and strategic goals. Within the Corporate Alliances organization, the Parks Account Management team is responsible for managing, executing and measuring a variety of Alliance partners. This position consults, analyzes, negotiates and forms deep relationships with third-­‐party alliances to deliver on contractual terms and identify select opportunities for growth that will provide material value to TWDC over the long-­‐term. This position requires an individual who can effectively navigate and influence key senior decision makers and articulate, negotiate and manage short-­‐ and long-­‐term recommendations and solutions to drive value to TWDC and its partners.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a deep knowledge and understanding of contractual obligations and alliance business objectives for assigned alliance partners
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of site-­‐specific Disney Parks & Resorts strategies, marketing initiatives, current issues, and scope of current/future operations by forging strong relationships with cross-­‐functional WDW/DLR LOBs
  • Act as the primary day-­‐to-­‐day POC for assigned alliance accounts for compliance with the agreements, account planning and execution, and resolution of issues for both the Alliance partners and the stakeholder BUs
  • Ensures execution and compliance of contractual deliverables and identifies, negotiates, and leads identification of new incremental opportunities to deliver on partner’s business objectives
  • Supports senior manager and director to develop and execute portfolio strategy that optimizes partner business objectives with Disney Parks & Resorts strategies, marketing initiatives, current issues, and scope of current/future operations
  • Manage alliance contract renewals, extensions and amendments to support the overall account portfolio strategy by conducting appropriate due diligence, facilitating proposal development and analysis of deal terms for managed accounts, and leading negotiations
  • Develop and maintain quarterly portfolio dashboards and monthly Salesforce updates by account
  • Lead and manage regular internal and external key partner meetings to ensure the flow and prioritization of opportunities with alliance partners and key Disney stakeholders
  • Collaborates with internal partners across multiple BUs (if applicable) to deliver on alliance partners’ business objectives
  • Partner, as needed, with the Corporate Alliances Business Development teams in the investigation, negotiations and contract development for those potential accounts with a P&R focus
  • Monitors ongoing trends in key partner industries to keep ahead of partner expectations and competition for partner marketing resources

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing, promotions, sponsorship experience required
  • Proven experience in marketing/promotions development and execution
  • Deep understanding or experience with WDW or DLR operations, strategy, marketing
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with cast members and Partners at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-­‐paced, matrix environment
  • Proven ability to identify key business issues and clearly articulate opportunities for both the partner and TWDC
  • Experience working with creative teams to ensure the creative execution delivers on identified business objectives
  • Proven ability to function successfully within a team environment and to build consensus within Corporate Alliances, Business Units, and alliance partners
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated strong abilities in prioritization and multi-­‐tasking
  • Demonstrated strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Keynote
  • Familiarity with The Walt Disney Company’s brand, products/services, and guest experience
  • Minimal travel as needed
  • Strong project management skills
  • Deep familiarity with Disney Parks Operations and Marketing
  • Experience in CPG, Retail, Food and Beverage and/or Technical sectors preferred
  • Self-­‐motivated individual capable of managing work with little direct supervision
  • Ability to lead and influence multiple teams and projects simultaneously with no direct authority
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-­‐task
  • Ability to develop and utilize financial models to support portfolio strategy
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Position located in Florida

Preferred Education

  • MBA preferred
