Environmental Integration Project Manager

Job Summary:

As an Environmental Integration (EI) Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects focused on reducing the environmental impact of Walt Disney World operations in alignment with The Walt Disney Company's environmental goals and targets. This project is based around managing Walt Disney World's mobile fuels emissions reduction efforts. These projects impact all operating areas and require process and equipment changes, potentially impacting all Leaders and Cast. You will report to the Environmental Integration Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects in resource conservation

  • Initiate energy efficiencies including fuels and transportation systems

  • Partner with various Operations, Lines of Business, and support areas to develop sustainment strategies and implementation plans for each new project

  • Fieldwork and onsite initiative implementation

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with large scale project management

  • Strong Walt Disney World & Line of Business relationships

  • Talent for developing partnerships and work with Cast Members and Leaders at all levels in the organization

  • Previous facilitation skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Strong problem solving, influencing, and analytical skills

  • Understanding of The Walt Disney Company's environmental goals and targets

  • Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment and other technologies

  • Schedule availability may include weekends, variable shifts, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in project management

  • Previous Leadership experience in Operations

  • Previous experience working with Operations Lines of Business

  • Familiarity with recent Environmental Integration efforts

  • Knowledge of Walt Disney World Utilities and Transportation infrastructure

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related experience

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s Degree or 5+ years of experience in a related field
