Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerk - Part Time

The Food & Beverage Inventory Control Clerk performs a variety of duties in the Food and Beverage area, determined by the needs of the operation. They must possess strong communication skills; be detail oriented, reliable, and self-motivated. This Cast Member must count, order, and receive product based on projected guest counts/pars.

This is an hourly part time role at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort that works an average of 24 hours per week.


  • Count and order products on a daily basis
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels
  • Order General Supplies
  • Conduct and follow month-end inventory procedures
  • Ensure and confirm the accuracy of deliveries/verify packing slips
  • Inspect and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Verify and record temperatures of perishable items and maintain a HACCP log
  • Reconcile and pay invoices
  • Research any open invoices in SAP and NALA
  • Track and research credits
  • Ensure all products arrive when due
  • Conduct all transfer types
  • Audit all ARIEL and NALA transactions
  • Research OE and Capital Expense items
  • Research and recommend cost savings
  • Relief of other receiving areas
  • Perform special projects and other duties as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of work experience in food & beverage and/or inventory roles
  • Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week with required weekends and overnight shifts
  • Available to work full time hours during first 2 weeks of training
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management application systems
  • Strong knowledge of Inventory Management and/or Supply Chain Operations
  • Heavy lifting is required
  • Ability to spend extended time in coolers and freezers
  • Excellent organizational skills to work on many requests at the same time without missing the small details
  • Excellent interpersonal, influence and verbal/written communication skills
  • Self-motivation to know when to take alternate action to enhance productivity, improve efficiency and work independently
  • Team focus to support your co-workers as needed, share best practices and maintain close partnerships with Cast Members from other lines of businesses
  • Demonstrated strong organizational, planning and time management skills
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office and learning computers applications and other tools
  • Must have a valid US Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years experience in Inventory Management or Food and Beverage

Required Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Hospitality Management or equivalent experience
