Food and Beverage Planning and Synergy Manager

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Planning and Synergy Manager supports the development and execution of business strategies, initiatives, and integration efforts.  From managing projects to communication, the Manager will coordinates activities, gain input from key partners, tracks milestones and deliverables, and help to prepare the organization for implementation. As industry evolves, the role will also support the integration of systems and business solutions. 

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Food and Beverage Operations Planning

You Will:

  • Support integration efforts for various food and beverage initiatives including new technologies and/or systems, solutions, DEI activations and products

  • Collaborate with a broad audience of key stakeholders, partner groups and operations clients including but not limited to Revenue Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Training, Documentation, Communication, Technology, and other strategic partners like Consumer Insight, Safety Services, Advisory and Assurance, Labor Relation, WDI, Revenue Currency Control, Marketing, Public Affair, and other Lines of Business

  • Communicate with operators to maintain an understanding of priorities, business requirements, climate, environmental impacts, and overall landscape of conditions and attitudes affecting food and beverage operations

  • Support change management efforts for seamless integration at the client level

  • Provide subject matter expertise and represent the Food & Beverage business in the development of initiatives, products, processes, or strategies

  • In partnership with key stakeholders and operating clients, design, develop, document and integrate new and revised processes, standards, and business rules

  • Facilitate dialogue with key partners to resolve issues when a complex understanding of operational processes, regulatory requirements, and WDP&R policy is required

  • Manage project timelines and proactively identify constrained resources, conflicting priorities, and scheduling issues

You Have:

  • Relevant work experience in the food and beverage industry

  • Strong understanding of complex operational processes, regulatory requirements, and WDP&R policies

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Demonstrated influence, negotiation, communication, presentation and public speaking skills

  • Ability to handle large volume and wide variety of tasks simultaneously

  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities

  • Demonstrated strong relationship building and partnering skills

  • Demonstrated detail-orientation

  • Ability to deconstruct, simplify and document complex content

  • Proven self-starter, recognizing when projects need to involve multiple partners and decisions need to be made at other levels within the organization

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment

  • Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency with all basic Microsoft Office tools

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years WDPR Food & Beverage operational leadership experience

  • Project management experience

  • A strong understanding of labor relation and the STCU local 737 union contract
