Walt Disney World Co. currently has full-time openings for Gardeners (Sportscape).
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for field maintenance on various athletic fields, including clay infields and the lining of various sport venues.
- Minimum of 3 years’ sport field experience required
- Able to lay out all different sports fields for competition
- Able to operate different types of turf equipment
- Experience in field logo painting and operating commercial landscape equipment for the maintenance of turf, shrubs, bedding plants, and tree care
- Must be familiar with proper landscape practices of fertilization, planting, irrigation and pruning
- Must be able to perform field maintenance on various athletic fields including experience with clay infields and the lining of various sport venues
- A Florida driver’s license is required
