ResponsibilitiesThe manager leads an organization of salaried leaders and hourly technicians that are both highly skilled and diversified. This teams range in size from 60 to 110 people (depending on the area) and the annual operating budget ranges from $8M to over $10M. The safety of the cast and guest is the manager’s first priority. The position requires a person to be nimble in thought and execution, they must be effective in leadership, management, technical aptitude and have strong relationship skills. To be successful, a manager must be able to provide the team with a vision and inspire them to achieve it. They will also have a strong understanding of the day-to-day operation and dive in where necessary to help manage the detail. They are required to execute multiple priorities on a daily basis and must be able to “switch gears” quickly.
Basic QualificationsThe manager is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity, reliability and show quality of the physical assets within their area of responsibility. In addition to leading the Engineering Services team towards this objective, the manager must effectively leverage internal resources and external contractors.
- 5 or more years of experience in related field
- Demonstrated strong business and technical acumen.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interface with all levels of organization
- Ability to access equipment pits, work platforms, cat walks, roofs and similar areas via ladder.
- Ability to work in United States
Required EducationAS degree in technical field of study
- 10 or more years of experience in related field
- BS degree in technical field of study
