Job Summary:

The Market Area Sales Specialist (MASS) works closely with team members to help drive the business development efforts for their market area. Primary responsibilities include the execution of business development activities such as tabletop/info fair events, new hire presentations, occasional hosting of financial education presentation facilitation, and Member account assistance. In addition, the MASS will be responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with Disney partners, as well as driving Membership and loan growth for the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Execution of business development in-the-field activities as noted above.
  • Member and potential Member support and follow-through.
  • Assist in planning of business development activities including scheduling, logistics and material preparation.
  • Generate new Membership and loan growth through various Business Development activities.
  • Lead Partners Pop-Up branch efforts consisting of opening Memberships, submitting loan applications, and assisting with general Member inquiries.
Casual temporary (“CT”) employees are scheduled on an as-needed basis, must have flexibility and be receptive to working a varied schedule from week to week.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in business development, Member/guest services, and/or marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to present with confidence to small and large audiences.
  • Excellent communicator – both written and oral, with the ability to interact effectively with Cast Members/Employees of The Walt Disney Company at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule including events and weekends.
  • Experience and/or understanding of Credit Union products and services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Credit Union experience
  • Prior Disney experience and/or knowledge of the Disney brand.
  • Proven communications and/or presentation experience
  • Multi-lingual proficiency (preferably Spanish and/or Creole)

Required Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

Bachelor degree or higher
