Responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities through installation on a project or multiple projects. Monitors quality and safety in the field. Provides technical expertise and ensures work in place meets quality requirements of contract documents, applicable codes and Disney standards. Coordinates interface with contractors, operations, vendors and governmental agencies.


  • Takes the lead on ensuring work in the field meets quality requirements of contract documents, applicable codes and to WDI/WDP&R standards
  • Manages the safety program in close coordination with WDI/WDP&R Safety
  • Provides constructability analysis and value engineering recommendations
  • Prepare daily log of contractor work activities and compare against contractor's daily reports. Track personnel on site, equipment used, and progress
  • Verify existing site conditions against design documents
  • Review and approve progress payment requisitions
  • Product turnover process commissioning through turnover acceptance
  • Mentors, coaches, provides leadership and direction to junior level, interns, engineers, architects, vendors, contractors
  • Use benefits of overall technical experience gained within WDI to identify potential field problems, areas of risk, and proactively seek solutions and make assignments
  • Arbitrates on-site conflicts between contractors
  • Communicates and coordinates directly with contractor/s, Operations, vendors and governmental agencies on a daily basis
  • Communicates and collaborates with the design team on a daily basis to review submittals and site delivered material for compliance to contract documents

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years outside field experience in applicable site development (attractions, commercial, residential, retail, or resort development projects), or 5 - 7 Years WDI project field experience relevant to the area
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organization and tracking skills
  • Candidate must possess and conduct herself / himself with the highest level of respect and professionalism. Project environment is extremely diverse and requires a strong depth of character & social excellence. Projects are highly dynamic and ever-changing coupled with required daily interface (1:1) with WDW Operations, WDW Engineering Services, & Regulatory Agencies, etc.

Required Education

  • High school degree or equivalent
