- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

This Senior Financial Analyst role in Facilities and Operations Services (FOS) Finance supporting Global Engineering & Technology, WDW Central Shops, Global IFP & FOS Development. The role is actively involved in the financial decision support for multiple Directors and their associated teams as well as the key planning exercises for the company (e.g., Five Year Plan, AOP and Forecast). This position will also manage complex financial analysis, management reporting, provide pro forma support, and develop/present executive level presentations. The ideal candidate for this position will proactively manage the financial position by learning/knowing the business and be energized about the active and diverse client support. The ideal candidate should also drive efficiency efforts, have open lines of communication, and help the team strategically plan for the future.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gathers, analyzes, prepares and makes recommendations for financial plans and operating forecasts
  • Convey important financial insights and trends to senior management through the creation of periodic reports and presentations
  • Prepares and presents financial reports and analyses to Finance and Operations leadership
  • Owns key aspects of the monthly financial reporting processes and close deliverables
  • Develops innovative solutions for decision-making support
  • Prepares and presents financial packages/decks
  • Works with other functional areas to provide project support
  • Proactively answers and makes recommendations regarding client questions
  • Ensures accuracy of all financial information included in planning processes and financial analysis
  • Develops a strong understanding of the business supported and the ability to proactively provide and analyze data before it’s requested and gather agreement with all partners on relevant issues
  • Supports the WDPR finance processes to ensure the integrity of the accounting functionality, controls and processes related to all Finance and Finance-related systems

Basic Qualifications:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong Excel, SAP, Longview, Analysis for Excel, PowerPoint
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting; Understanding of traditional finance cycle (5YP, AOP, Forecast, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, partnering, and presentation skills
  • Proven strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
  • Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of the business, the processes required to support the business, and the development of relationships with various teams
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the unique aspect of the client they support and how financial choices impact their business
  • Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
  • Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Ability to compose concise written descriptions of complex issues, supported by detailed analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to simplify complex issues and incorporates effective “storytelling” to engage and influence the audience
  • Ability to deliver presentations and communication to audiences of all levels persuasively, articulately and with full command of the topic

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent
