- This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.

Job Summary:

Disney Consumer Products, Games and Publishing (“CPGP”) is expanding the PM team for Financial Applications and is seeking an experienced high-caliber project manager to manage all aspects of the project, including, but not limited to, Agile/ Scrum process, budget management, risk management, timeline/ milestones development and tracking, requirement collection, and the full lifecycle of the application development.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead daily scrums, sprint reviews, and planning meetings to ensure full team engagement. Manage interdependencies between agile teams.

  • Hands-on experience with practices such as Agile, Kanban, Waterfall and extensive experience with running scrum teams and functional blending of styles to facilitate collaboration and delivery

  • Project Management of global stakeholders, off-shore development and QA resources, and cross-functional teams

  • Partner with the Product Owners to support short and long-term release planning, and to keep work backlog healthy and prepared for execution.

  • Assist product owner, business analysts and other team members in refining backlog and ensuring a steady stream of work is available for the team

  • Manage the requirement phase of the project (including business process re-engineering, requirement gathering and documentation)

  • Manage the full application development lifecycle (design, development, QA and UAT)

  • Manage the phased rollout and hyper care activities

  • Create project update and presentation for business and technology stakeholders and executives

  • Manage and mitigate project risks

  • Manage resource tracking and budgets (Capital and Expense)

Basic Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of project management experience

  • Must have extensive and recent experience managing Scrum teams (Jira experience preferred)

  • Must have experience of successfully managing a large project (over $2M USD) from the project inception to final rollout

  • Experience with financial tracking or capital projects

  • Experience in Revenue Accounting/Finance Application development projects

  • Highly motivated and deadline-driven

  • Work well in a cross-functional environment

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
