Hong Kong Disneyland is now hiring Intern for Design & Show Quality Team. This is an amazing opportunity to work side-by-side with industry leaders in your field of study. The individuals will be able to build upon the skills they've learned in the classroom within a family of legendary brands passionate about creating world-class experiences on a global scale.
The Show Audio and Video intern is a member of the technical show quality team and works very closely with Parks & Resorts Facility Services Cast Members to maintain the highest quality of audio and video effect throughout the resort. In additional to a high degree of AV technical skills, the audio and video intern also got a creative sense for proper Disney theme environment, a good knowledge of the Disney brand, and the capacity to work independently as well as in a team environment. From this internship the intern will gain theme park working experience, understand Disney show quality requirement, know how to apply AV technical knowledge in creating magics.
Support designers in video and audio show reviews and review documentations.
Support designers in providing solutions for show defects, e.g., projector alignment, speaker test, audio and video system trouble shooting.
Help designer identify appropriate AV equipment spec per show quality requirement.
Coordinate with vendors and FS to set up mock up test.
Conduct basic AV work duties under designer's direction.
Current university students major in Arts design, electrical engineering or other related disciplines
Skill sets of administrative and problem solving are essential
Sensitive to lights, colors and sound
Hands on experiences in projector mapping/alignment, experiences in Q-SYS programming is preferred
Have the right of abode in Hong Kong SAR
Available to commit 3 months full time internship from May to August 2024 for 10 to 12 weeks, able to work for overnight shift
Previous work experience at Disney theme parks will be considered as an added advantage
