Job Summary:

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications through 1) consumer Public Relations (PR) campaigns in Hong Kong; 2) PR campaigns for travel trade, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE), wedding and youth programs in Asia. This role requires creativity, organizational and collaboration skills, as well as ability to manage priorities. As part of Communications & Public Affairs discipline, the Publicity team will deliver the desired articulation of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s (HKDL) brand, franchise and product stories targeting different stakeholders and manage reputation through PR strategies, and work with different lines of business to provide integrated communication solutions to serve HKDL’s business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop PR strategies and drive execution to deliver business and publicity objectives

  • Interface with various lines of business as well as manage agency to ensure quality and timely PR deliverables

  • Support Publicity Manager in the implementation of PR and communication messaging and strategies for company’s cross functional / commercial drive projects

  • Coordinate PR events, campaigns and logistics support

  • Handle bilingual press materials preparation and editorial write ups (Chinese & English),

  • Manage media and influencers’ relationships, assist in handling media / influencers’ enquiries and manage database and reports

Basic Qualifications

  • University graduate, major in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related discipline

  • At least 5-7 years working experience with PR agency or in house. With experience in Greater Bay Area would be an advantage

  • Familiar with traditional media and social media environment

  • Good knowledge on local influencers management and partnership

  • Proven record in managing events, developing story angles and messaging

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle multiple projects at the same time

  • Strong project management and collaboration skills to interact with internal and external partners

  • Think strategically and provide creative solutions in execution or working level

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Candidate with less experience will consider as Specialist, Publicity
